Ladies get the bubble-bath from off the second shelf.

Zeus, verb, In whom each thought that’s thought assumes existence, Weightless though weighted and leaving track. That my one quick inward witness, just as quick forgot, Is citizen itself to the Cosmos, Itself, phainomenon. That it is dignified, like the stone, like the thunderbolt.

Once I’m dead don’t pray to me. I’ll be somewhere elsewhere out this galaxy. My dead so close at close attension, Ought they be? Once I’m weightless I won’t be. I must learn to whispercross a galaxy.

Happy National Poetry Month, assuming that still exists.

I look East. A lowslung pile of building, mountain, cloud, Snuggled up and down tight along across the whole horizon, the buildings one long ridge of live barnacles basking in cold March Sunrise, the Sun itself now only just hid behind. I await the Sun-itself any moment now, but first I give glance upvalley West. There, sudden, the whole reflected Sun is splash white-gold Booming off an east-face…
