Useful Resources for Kickstarter Campaigns

Before I forget where I found them, I wanted to share a few new-to-me resources I used to help with my campaign. I am putting these here for me as much as for anyone else, as invariably I’ll end up going back to these for the next issue of The Lump Sum Saga. (The pre-launch page for Marina is available now. • https://ads.reddit.com/ The Reddit advertising dashboard is enticingly usable, but the verdict on how effective my ads were is still out.

• https://globalcomix.com/c/vxd/admin/crowdfunding/ This is the URL structure for where to set up the crowdfunding feature for your campaign on your book at GlobalComix. With a new book, I post a few sample pages to activate this possibility.

• https://studio.youtube.com/ Where I store most of my campaign videos.

• Loom (https://www.loom.com/) to simplify sending personalized video thank-you messages. A monthly subscription works well for a campaign.

• https://www.kicktraq.com/projects/gregtjosvold/vxd/ I always forget the URL pathway to a specific campaign.

• PlaceIt for creating mockup images that are not available in Canva.
