Have you looked at grocery prices lately and just stood there thinking… Holy cow.
I don’t know who these “quick weeknight dinners” are for online, but if it requires six specialty sauces, a garnish that costs $8, and a protein my kids won’t touch… I’m out.
Been there. Made it. Watched it sit on the table. Never again.
The last two weeks, I gave myself full permission to go back to old-fashioned, no-frills, everybody-leaves-the-table-full meals.
And guess what?
I planned two full weeks of dinners for $150 or less per week.
Protein-filled.
Balanced carbs.
Fiber from real vegetables.
A big side salad.
And yes- bread, rolls, biscuits, or naan on the side because I am not raising birds.
