SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2026

It’s been a busy summer. I’ve been winding down and putting to bed two graphic novels I’ve been writing behind the scenes for a few years now in the background, one of which is one of my favorite things I’ve ever, ever made. Winding down a few projects means winding up a few more - a miniseries or two with some of my favorite characters in comics and horror, and even a few returns to previous projects that get to continue on. (I’ll let you guess in the comments.)

That being said, I’ve woefully neglected our fun space here! If you’re looking for more regular updates on me and my thoughts on things like The Vampire Lestat, The Odyssey, pics of my day to day, The Vampire Lestat, what I’m watching on Kanopy, what I’m listening to (The Vampire Lestat), and whatever else, I post a bunch on my Instagram.

This year I have two convention-exclusive items - SICKO #1 ANWITYA CITRIYA variant and early copies of MARIAN HERETIC #1, available exclusively during my signings at the BOOM STUDIOS booth, #2229.

Show of the fucking year, is what it’s all about. If you wanna come talk to me about it, I have a bunch of bracelets I made, because look - I went to cons long before I was a pro. I went as a fan, to find other fans and geek the fuck out about my favorite things. So yes, my favorite characters in all of literature are in a 10/10 fuckincredible adaptation with great actors and yeah, I’m gonna be a fangirl about it.

You know what - this is actually a call to you all reading this who are just gonna be there working, promoting yourselves, or what-have-you - find something to do at the con that’s just for you. Go to a panel for a show you love. Buy yourself a fandom keychain in artist alley. Take a picture of a cosplayer and talk to them about your mutual love of the character they’re dressed as.

SICKO #1 is out tomorrow, 7/22/26, at all comic shops, and I’m so excited. Thank you AIPT for the great review!
