9 Reasons to Attend Harbor 2026

Friends, Harbor 2026 is just around the corner, and we look forward to hosting more than 100 presenters and well over a thousand Christians from around the world on the Pepperdine campus. Events like Harbor are becoming increasingly rare—and this cherished time for renewal will celebrate its 84th year (wow!), replenishing the Church and building up believers.

Here are 9 reasons to attend Harbor: the Pepperdine Bible Lectures:

The Scenery. Malibu in May is about as pleasant as weather and scenery get in the United States. Sunshine, beaches, palm trees, rolling hills, majestic views. Malibu is also one of the most expensive places to work, live, or stay. This provides you with a chance to experience it at an incomparably reasonable cost.

The Spiritual Feast. Harbor is in its 84th year, and each year has provided a spiritual feast in its own way. I believe this year’s list of presenters is second to none. In fact, each hour has four or five presenters who could easily draw significant crowds to our larger class venues, like Smothers Theater, Elkins Auditorium, and Stauffer Chapel.

Farewell to the Fieldhouse. This year will be Harbor’s last in the Firestone Fieldhouse—which has hosted numerous iconic moments that shaped a movement. We will have video montage(s) walking down memory lane of some of the great moments in Harbor in the Fieldhouse—and prepare for our move to the jaw-dropping Mountain at Mullin Park in 2027.

New faces. Harbor has been a place where people can hear emerging, fresh voices in Churches of Christ. This year is no different. Also, you are likely to make some new friends who share your passion for Christ and the Church.

The Price. It’s unbeatable. You can stay on the Pepperdine campus for four nights for less than you can get a room at the Hilton Garden Inn in El Paso for one night.

The people. Christians from all over the globe are coming together for an epic week. Hanging out by the fountain, at a beachfront restaurant, late night in the cafeteria, in the chapel for morning praise…simply being with other Christians is one of the most soul-warming things you can do.

Ministry workshops. Harbor has workshops on every major stream of ministry. You can sharpen your skills and encounter new ideas aplenty. You can also find fellowship with others in your line of ministry.

The worship. Thunderous, joyful praise can be heard all over campus throughout the week. United Voice Worship, Metro Praise, Waves Worship, and more will be there to celebrate the Lord with. We also have workshops on worship ministry, from worship theology to worship technology.

Most of all…God. He’s done great things in the lives of those who have attended for 84 years! Harbor has made an indelible mark on my life and ministry. It has been a reservoir of renewal for me over and over again. Come and let the Lord fill you.
