Subscribe via RSS

Last year I wrote Subscribe via e-mail . I made it possible for people to subscribe to the blog with an e-mail instead of having to rely on RSS. But now, 13 months later, and $126 poorer, I’m canceling my Buttondown subscription. The main reason is money, it’s expensive with $9 for just 7 subscribers. I see in my server logs that a lot more are subscribing with RSS, so I guess…

Hudd review

Lately, there has been a lot of talk about moving away from US-based services, and social media platforms in general. Norway’s broadcasting channel, NRK, wrote yesterday about how to break free from the tech giants . In my circle it seems like a bunch of people read this and gave some thought to it. Once again reminded about the Norwegian alternative to Facebook, Hudd . What is Hudd? Hudd…

Do something about it

We have all seen it, read it, experienced it. Lately on the interwebs, people have been complaining a lot about how things was better before, and how everything is turning to shit now. I even made a draft-post myself in October where I also wanted to complain about how everything has gotten so fucking complicated and complex. I stopped writing that draft because I realized I was doing exactly what…

November 2025

This month felt like two months, I don’t know why. 🍀 Life age++ this month, I have less than a year left in my twenties, not that I worry about that. But friends and family always like to point that out when one’s age is closing in on a round number. Besides turning 29, we managed to buy a fucking house, a full standalone house with a double garage, and carport. We’re going to…
