The Mycelium is dead.
For the last three years, the Mycelium served as a beautiful metaphor representing my essence. A word embodying my natural impulse to gently weave synergistic relationships across invisible networks, in service to the whole.
After doing the invisible weaving underground, it’s time to step in the light. Not as a metaphor, but as a human being.
The Mycelium was the message. Now is my name.
I’m not The Mycelium anymore. I’m Tijn Tjoelker;
“Weaving together the more beautiful bioregional world our hearts know is possible.”
Only two things change: 1) the name, and 2) the background colour, shifting from dark mycelial soil to something bright and light.
I continue writing in service to life — helping us come home to place through Bioregioning in Public.
The writing will go deeper into the places that are calling me most:
Bioregional regeneration, finance and governance. The poetry of systems change. Bridging ancestral wisdom with symbiotic technology. Deep ecology and embodied philosophy. Zen, Taoism, and the evolution of human consciousness. And the slow, sacred work of weaving together the International Regenerative Alliance (AIR) — a global network regenerating the Heart of the World.
Three years of weaving and writing, and you were here. That has meant the world — more than I know how to say. I continue to be amazed that I can sustain a simple, frugal, bioregional life through this newsletter, while reaching directly over 9,000+ hearts.
This newsletter has always been a gift. If my writing has nourished you, become a paid subscriber to keep the gift flowing. Not as a transaction — as a reciprocity. Supporting me weave and write from unconditional love and abundance 🎁💝✨
