Stop Waiting For the Permission Slip

Every decision begins as a tremor, so faint it might be mistaken for indigestion, yet it rattles the plates of your certainties. Plato called it the “daimon”, Kierkegaard nicknamed it “dread”, your smartwatch logs it as an elevated heart rate: the first pulse of possibility. In that electric instant you are both magician and sceptic, performing an act of self-levitation while muttering that gravity still exists. No syllabus, no weather app, no insurance policy can certify what comes next; history’s syllabus is always handed out after the exam. So you hover in the liminal, half-packed suitcase, draft resignation letter, trembling cursor on “Send” while the world politely clears its throat, waiting for you to either bloom or bolt…
