This demo is old but the song is new. “Someone To Watch The Band With Me” is out today! My idea of a good song is one that holds lots of music but also stands up on its own. How songs transform in the studio when surrounded by the aces of their instruments is such a thrill. I thought it would be fun to revisit this in juxtaposition to the one you’ll hear tomorrow.
I also want to thank you all for the support and positivity you’ve given me during the years I had not been releasing music. While that time away was so meaningful and important to my work and my family, I am so excited for this album to come out and to be back out there strumming a guitar.
