Some of you have been on the ride through every single and video release leading up to the release of my new IAMEVE album Legacy and I am endlessly grateful for your love and support.
Between moves, between crises, while raising a human and building a global nonprofit. These songs were made across Los Angeles, Woodstock, Melbourne, and Berlin. Some of these songs took years. This record grew in the spaces between all of it. Every sound deliberate. Every layer loved.
Legacy is a record about what we inherit, what we destroy, and what we choose to carry forward. Love at the edge of detonation. The feminine spirit demanding release. Generational pain and the fire that still moves through. The shadow self given a voice. Power and greed consuming the world. And underneath all of it, the stubborn belief that we will rise above and take care of our beautiful world and each other. So in a way — Legacy captures devotion above all. Devotion to sound. Devotion to community. Devotion to the world.
