Amid a stormy weekend, Noah Kahan serenaded a sold-out show at Citi Field on Sunday, July 19. The aura of Noah’s latest album The Great Divide: The Last of the Bugs was felt throughout the 26-song set (he even wore a bug hairclip) as he performed newer hits like “Doors,” along with now-classics such as “Northern Attitude.”
At one point, Noah also got a special call from Elmo and Cookie Monster welcoming him to NYC, and the audience was delighted by a surprise guest appearance by Aaron Dessner on guitar during “End of August.” All in all a truly iconic show, emphasizing that one night with the King of Vermont is not enough.
The Great Divide Tour will next head to Raleigh this weekend, followed by stops in Atlanta, Denver, San Diego and more. I highly recommend making it to a date if you can.

Toot, toot! Suzie Toot kicked off her new cabaret tour, Suzie With a Z, at City Winery NYC on July 8. Taking inspiration in equal parts from her idol Liza Minnelli and the vaudeville heyday of the 1920s, the tap dancing RuPaul’s Drag Race standout covered everything from Ruth Etting (“Mean to Me”) and Kander & Ebb (Chicago’s “Funny Honey”) to Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (“Jazz Fever”) and The Muppets (“Rainbow Connection”) while also managing to throw a healthy dose of shade at a few of her Season 17 sisters (“This one’s for you, Lexi Love!”). —Glenn, Content Writer
Niall Horan made one thing clear at his special show in Music City on July 9: this man loves Nashville. Shouting out his collaborators in the audience, sharing stories of his time in sessions up and down Music Row, and powering through the summer heat, the artist owned the night at Geodis Park alongside his buddy and co-headliner Thomas Rhett. “Welcome to the Garden of Eden” is the first line of Jack White’s “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs,” and his show at the Brooklyn Paramount on July 12 felt like exactly that. Especially if you like your rock and roll loud, dirty and fast. His usual no-phones policy was not a problem—it put everyone squarely in the moment as he blistered, ripped and slide-guitared his way through a wide range of songs from The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and new solo album Frozen Charlotte. It made for a hot, sweaty, high-wattage show that’s become his beloved hallmark.
