Another day in the fascist hellscape that has become the United States, and another reminder of how easily the mega-wealthy can evade accountability.
As Sarah Kendzior says in The View From Flyover Country, America isn’t red or blue; it’s purple, like a bruise. What a poignant observation. And as long as morbidly wealthy men like Les Wexner and Leon Black remain beyond the reach of meaningful accountability, that bruise isn’t going to heal anytime soon.
And they are hardly alone. So far, we’ve identified 26 additional billionaires, spanning both sides of the political aisle, whose names appear in connection with the Epstein files.
And then we have Lesley Groff.
As Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime assistant, whom he referred to in a New York Times article as “an extension of my brain,” Lesley Groff worked for Epstein for 18 years, from 2001 until July 2019, just before he was arrested on federal sex-trafficking charges.
From the June 9, 2026, House Oversight Committee’s under-oath interview of Lesley Groff:
Name redacted: “Did you ever go to his residence in Ohio?”
Groff: “No.”
We’re highlighting this because there is yet another property where Epstein likely had cameras set up and mountains of recordings, yet we’ve barely even heard about this residence, much less whether it was ever searched.
So I called Ellie Leonard. She confirmed that the property sits on Les Wexner’s New Albany compound in Ohio and that it was never investigated or searched.
Yet another billionaire who should be facing prison time, had the rightful president been allowed to take her seat behind the Resolute Desk.
Back to Lesley Groff.
She has never been charged with a crime. Despite her name appearing more than 160,000 times in the partial release of the Epstein files, and the survivors pointing to her as the person responsible for coordinating the massages, their travel, and payment for services.
Groff stated in her transcribed interview with the House Oversight Committee that she was unaware of Epstein’s activities and that he intentionally kept her “on the outside of his perverted life.”
In her opening statement to the Oversight Committee, Groff said she had been told that “Mr. Epstein’s day included a morning muffin, a private yoga lesson, and a massage.” She later added, in response to Rep. Brignac’s question:
“Did you find anything about the massage scheduling to be odd when you first started?”
Groff: “Absolutely not. It was just like another appointment. It was like going to the gym. It was — it was very normal.”
Nearly two decades of scheduling his “very normal” appointments, including massages with underage girls. Yet Groff repeatedly stated that she never met any of the women and did not know they were minors or that they were being sexually assaulted and abused.
Groff: “From 2001 to 2009, I worked exclusively at the Helmsley Palace. When you entered the reception area, my office was located in the rear of the suite, and I could not see who entered or exited. Visitors were able to enter and leave Mr. Epstein’s office through a separate entrance without seeing them — without me seeing them.”
She then described the move to the 66th Street offices, then to 575 Lexington Avenue, and, sometime around 2013, to Epstein’s 71st Street mansion.
“Not once did I see or hear anything illegal.”
She went on to claim that none of the girls, or anyone else, ever told her that they were minors or that they were being abused.
“Even Sarah Kellen, who courageously told this committee about her sexual abuse, confirmed that she never told me about her abuse, even though we spoke with each other.”
Throughout the interview, committee members appeared skeptical. Referring to the scheduling of the appointments, Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) said, “It’s difficult to understand how” Groff continued scheduling massage appointments for Epstein after his 2006 arrest “and not ever once doubt that there could be something happening in those moments.”
Groff said that, in hindsight, Epstein was a “master manipulator” and deceiver and that she had hardly any relationship with him outside of their “professional” one.
But there’s something else Groff said that doesn’t appear to have landed on anyone’s radar: her response to Rep. Robert Garcia’s (D-CA) line of questioning about Donald Trump and the length of time she knew Trump and Epstein were associated.
Mr. Garcia: Okay. I want to just go back to something else. Thank you.
So, Ms. Groff, I just want to go back to something that was being asked earlier. I know you had mentioned that you had arranged multiple phone conversations with then Donald Trump, not the President yet, of course, and Mr. Epstein. And then, just for the record again, you did connect them by phone a few times, correct?
Ms. Groff: Correct.
Mr. Garcia: Was that more than five times, more than ten times? Do you have any idea how many times you connected them by phone?
Ms. Groff: I don’t know how often I connected him. There would be, I said, once a quarter, maybe, or twice. If Epstein was in town and he wanted to speak to Mr. Trump, it might take me four times to get the two of them on the phone. But I don’t know how often that really occurred.
Mr. Garcia: And it’s safe to say it could have been multiple times a year?
Ms. Groff: Yes.
Mr. Garcia: Okay. So multiple times a year over a period of ten years?
Ms. Groff: Yeah. I don’t really recall when they stopped talking.
A decade.
Given that Lesley Groff’s employment began in 2001, that means that Trump continued contact with Epstein until well after his 2006 charges, until at least 2011.
Although we know from the FBI files that it was much longer.
Mr. Garcia: And then did you also arrange any meetings between Mr. Epstein and Mr. Trump, separate of just phone calls?
Ms. Groff: It’s possible. I don’t recall anything offhand.
Mr. Garcia: Okay. But it’s possible you could have arranged meetings, but you don’t recall if there was a meeting. Did you arrange any services for Mr. Trump that Mr. Epstein was providing, separate of any phone call or meeting?
Ms. Groff: No.
Mr. Garcia: Would you characterize their relationship as a friendship?
Ms. Groff: I really don’t know what the relationship was. I didn’t hear them speaking. I don’t know.
Mr. Garcia: Because Mr. Epstein has characterized it as a friendship. In fact, Mr. Epstein said that he considered them actually best friends for a period of ten years.
Have you ever heard that in the media or anything else before?
Ms. Groff: I have not.
And then a question as to the nature of their relationship from an attendee whose name is redacted.
Mr. (redacted): And, Ms. Groff, earlier when we asked you about Mr. Epstein’s relationship with Les Wexner, you were willing to provide your opinion that they were friends as well as business partners.
So to the Congressman’s question, how would you characterize the relationship of Mr. Trump and Epstein?
Ms. Groff: I mean, I suppose they were friendly. I don’t know if they had any business going on. That wasn’t something that I asked. That’s not something I discussed with Mr. Epstein or Mr. Trump, so I don’t really know. It’s possible that they were friendly.
And Rep Robert Garcia (D-CA) picks back up.
Mr. Garcia: Even though you connected them multiple times a year by phone and possibly for meetings, that you’re not aware of, correct?
Ms. Groff: Yes. I don’t know what they discussed or what the meetings were for. It’s possible they were friendly. It’s possible they spoke business. I don’t know what it was about.
Lesley Groff stated she didn’t remember when Trump and Epstein stopped speaking but that it had been about a decade, which would at the very least place Trump in Epstein’s orbit through 2011.
Except we have an FBI CHS reporting document that places Trump at Epstein’s Manhattan brownstone in the spring of 2015, just before announcing his 2016 candidacy.
Congressman Robert Garcia, perhaps Groff should be recalled to answer under oath if she remembers setting up that lunch.
And 2024 was not the first election that was rigged for Trump. We’ve already walked through the timeline of Jeffrey Epstein and Peter Thiel’s 2014–2016 collusion with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election for Donald Trump in this article:
So what we have here is a decades-long cover-up.
At least 28 billionaires with ties to Epstein have been identified, and credible evidence exists that some of them committed crimes.
Donald Trump, a candidate known to be a Russian asset long before the 2016 election, never should have been allowed to run for office. Instead, a 34-count convicted felon and adjudicated sexual predator became president, while a Department of Justice played janitor, protecting itself and those in power instead of protecting the people.
Merrick Garland slow-walked Trump’s prosecution and left Part Two of Jack Smith’s report on the table for Pam Bondi to discard because he was protecting Jamie Gorelick, Jared Kushner, and by proxy, Bibi Netanyahu.
The notion that no amount of wealth or political influence should place these individuals beyond the reach of the law has proven to be a misplaced one, as evidenced by the millions of black-and-white pages contained in the Epstein files.
We know of at least 28 men who were terrified of a Kamala Harris Department of Justice because she was uniquely qualified to take them down.
Why?
Because that’s precisely what she did in California.
Meaning the entire country is suffering through the illegitimate term of Donald Trump because the men who run the world and fund the political parties would be facing prison time if the election hadn’t been stolen for Donald Trump.

Purple like a bruise.
Accountability is coming.
We have constitutional avenues to remove this entire illegitimate administration, but those avenues begin with state-led investigations.

Call. Call. Call.
Use this script if needed:
Hi, my name is [Name], and I’m calling as a concerned citizen to request that the Attorney General open an investigation into foreign interference in the 2024 election.
This is not a partisan request. States have a duty to protect their own elections, their voters, and the integrity of the results. If foreign actors, private technology companies, political campaigns, or third-party vendors interfered with election systems, reporting systems, voter data, or vote totals, the public deserves a full investigation.
I am specifically asking the Attorney General to investigate: Aleria Technology and its ties to the Trump campaign; Elon Musk, DOGE, and communications between Musk and his engineers; any real-time voting data shared with private individuals; election equipment vendors, reporting systems including DDHQ, Pro V&V engineering change orders; and any foreign interference connected to the 2024 election.
We are asking for subpoenas, preservation of records, vendor communications, software records, reporting-system data, and any communications involving campaigns, private technology companies, and foreign actors.
The people have a right to know whether the 2024 election was compromised. Please open an investigation immediately.
And please tell me the best way to submit supporting documentation to the Attorney General’s office.
Thank you for your time.
In solidarity,
