- The Senate’s latest version of the Clarity Act includes software developer protections and a revised ethics provision with a sunset date in 2029, clearing what are expected to be the final hurdles before a Senate vote. The bill would prohibit public officials from issuing or sponsoring digital assets, though they would still be permitted to invest in cryptocurrencies. It also establishes a safe harbor for non-custodial software developers, clarifying that they are not considered money transmitters. Link. Link. Link.

- The London Stock Exchange will introduce all-day trading, five days a week, in 2027 starting with ETFs. Link. Link.

- BNY plans to introduce tokenized Treasuries on its private blockchain by the end of 2026, as it aims to support 24/7 settlement and an “always-on” Treasury market. Link.

- Tokenized real-world asset (RWA) perps have grown from $85 billion in January to $470 billion in June, with tokenized equities proving more popular than tokenized commodities. Link.
