A little debrief of this Copenhagen Fashion Week season, what has changed, fashion pieces I LOVED and my updated fav places in the city!
wow wow wow what a week it has been!!!! sorry if I can’t keep up with the pace of other magazines and creators, I needed a few days to recharge and get my thoughts straight! This was the most stressful CPHFW ever (I’m writing this while my eye keeps twitching for hours, likely because of stress lol)
In one of my latest reels I’m already breaking down my outfits I wore during the week, so I wanted to use the newsletter to share some thoughts and things that really shaped this fashion week for me <3
So, to no surprise, CPHFW was massive this year. There were much more events happening than the past seasons and many more people attending. I love for the fashion week to get more attention, it’s great! BUT because sooo many people were there, the crowds were bigger, more chaotic and everybody split up on many events: I didn’t run into the usual faces as often, which was very sad and noticeable.
And when I talked to other people that have come for many seasons, we all felt the same: Where is everyone??? Like, I see people are here, but I don’t meet them.
I think this season felt just more like work for me for various reasons, and one definetly was, that I didn’t and couldn’t socialize as much, which is something I want to do differently next season. Every season you learn and grow :)
I don’t know what suddenly hit me, but red seems like the perfect match to my wardrobe and I don’t know why I only understand it now?! Anyways, here are some outfit details: LINKED HERE
I’ve posted about this bag on my story before, but I actually fell in love with it. It was so practical to run around with, it fits everything and more (yes, a laptop too) and I can’t NOT share it. It’s from COS and I feel like the price point is actually okay for a leather bag this size. Click here :) It has a double zipper and opens really wide so it’s easy access and you’ll find all your stuff quickly.
Okay, I’ve tried many BMO’s in Copenhagen (bolle med ost = bun with cheese) and HANS has hands down the best I have tried. Its so crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and the jam was also heavenly!! They have multiple locations and I’m already dreaming of the day I’ll be back to taste it.
To be very honest, at this moment I am so tired of talking about trends. I feel like some of them are so constructed and forced upon us, and honestly? I have no clue what to make of the shows I saw in Copenhagen. I did not recognize anything that I could call out as a trend right now and that’s probably fine??? Let’s all take a rest. <3
