Found, saved, kept #1

I thought I’d start sharing a few things I’ve been into lately, things I’ve discovered, searched for, or simply kept thinking about.

Nothing too serious or groundbreaking, just some finds that caught my attention recently. Sharing is caring, so here they are:

Pamela has a garden in Vancouver Island, Canada, where she currently lives. She bought the house of her grandparents and has spent years restoring it (a dream, if you ask). The seven-acre sanctuary, named Arcady (which means ‘peaceful and rustic place’) has a television series (Pamela’s Garden of Eden) where all the process is shown. What fascinated me most about this, is not the garden, but how much this woman has changed since the beginning. Or maybe not? Maybe she hasn’t changed a bit and this has been the whole time beneath the façade of her beauty. I’ll always wonder.

Now she grows a lovely garden, and I won’t call it a vegetable patch, because it’s has a further meaning rather than providing food. She genuinely looks happy. She posts videos in the mornings, picking up flowers and putting them in a perfect ceramic sink, with an old silver tap. I feel she has bought for herself a little world and is the only person living in it. I am so fond of her. She’s the best.
