It's been a while, hasn't it?

Unintentionally, my last newsletter ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. For those of you who were waiting with baited breath for Part 2 of the Effectiveness formula, I am sorry for the yearlong wait.

And while I’m not here today with the rest of that formula either, I am here with some good news:

WORK then PLACE—which includes the full Effectiveness formula and much, much more—will be out this fall!

Co-written by fellow workplace nerd, Sara Mailloux Escobar, this book is for leaders, teams, and thinkers trying to make sense of how modern work and the workplace ended up where we are today and what to do next. It’s for people who sense that “workplace strategy” is about more than just floorplans and badge swipes. It’s for anyone who's ever sat in a meeting and thought: There’s got to be a better way to do all of this. There is. And we want to help you build forward-facing workplace strategies to find it.

Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing:

I will feature select pieces from WORK then PLACE here, but this space will continue to serve as a home for my other emergent ideas and future-of-work explorations that stretch beyond the book.
