Sharing a piece of commissioned prose this week for the launch of Brownstone Cowboys magazine, featuring interviews with the likes of Michael Stipe, Touré, Joan Jonas and Gia Copolla (by me <3).

They’re trying to do something interesting with print and digital, fearless in a fucked up media realm and beautiful amidst the homogenous aesthetic world we’ve found ourselves in.

So when they asked me for a piece of prose on how to feel about the world, I couldn’t say thank you, I’m tired, no sorry.

PS. Enjoying this new Kurt Vile song from his upcoming album. Listening to him makes me endlessly want to be in a hoodie, riding in my friend’s car, back from Minnehaha Beach on a Wednesday night. Nice to have had those feelings, nice to remember them.
