The Macq1 historical tour with storyteller Aaron is a wonderful way to dive into the fasinating history of this great city. Book online HERE (free as a guest or just $35).
Wander Battery Point on sunrise - stop off at one of the many sweet cafes like Leoht for a brew and soak up the morning sunshine filtered through the old sandstone streets.
Catch the ferry (or drive) across to MONA. This iconic museum is a MUST for any visitor to Tassie. Grab an easy lunch there too (a great outdoor playground for the little too).
Uber up to Mount Wellington for a perfect vista of the city below, unless its snowing of course! We caught the snow here in April.
TIP: if you can spare an extra day or two you must catch the ferry across to Bruny Island. Just for the oysters and cheese alone!
