Ealing data centre will feature 'largest photovoltaic facade in the world'

Ealing Council’s planning committee approved CyrusOne’s application to build a hyperscale data centre on the site of the former Honey Monster factory on Bridge Road.

CyrusOne say they will spend approximately £1.4 billion on the project, which will also feature affordable office space, public realm improvements and a dedicated electricity sub station. A council officer told the meeting that one wall of the main building will feature the ‘largest photovoltaic facade in the world’.
