In this long overdue round up of The Usual Suspects from February to June, The Upsetter brings you a summer menu with not a strawberry in sight.

Instead, there’s sex scandal, more sex scandal, some international influence peddling and a tale of political espionage and cowardice in one of the UK’s leading Sunday newspapers.

There’s also exclusives about Prince Andrew’s secret visit to Britain’s FBI and the senior Met commander in Specialist Operations whose staff officer abused police cadets.

Then there’s a problem with The Specials - not the Coventry ska band - but that group of volunteer cops in the Met who’ve lost their senior male leadership team to sex scandals.

The optics are good, but this new appointee will find herself having to defend some rather curious decisions and comments she made when a female whistleblower came to her about bullying and sexual misconduct in the volunteer force.

Finally, we have eulogies for two people whose struggle for justice, freedom and equality cannot go unmentioned with their recent passing.
