EXTRA STEM: The Day Before The Day Before

Hello to you amazing paid subscribers to EXTRA STEM. It’s finally here. The event we’ve been working towards for over two years: RHS Badminton.

The excitement is building and I’ll be taking you behind the scenes as we head into the build phase. Here’s the plan so far:

FRIDAY: Take non plant stock onto site, get my pass and work out which entrance we need to use so that we are ready for the team to hit the ground running on Saturday first thing.

SATURDAY: Load the truck with the event carpet, some of the plinths and kit we need to lay the floor and the background. Hopefully get the boards up at the back of the stand and get the infrastructure sorted.

SUNDAY: Day at the farm prepping the sales stock and loading onto the Danish trolleys. Mock up of the sales table as we’ve never done this before and I think it is worth doing as it’s always the job that gets done last minute. I want our sales table to look amazing. Prep the show plants and all the little bits of information on the stand.
