Can you believe it, fam…December 2025. Another year in the books.
These past 12 months have been quite the journey—a whirlwind of growth and learning that, together, kept us focused and eligible for every opportunity that came our way.
Forever grateful.
Alright, so a quick rundown of this installment of the #TheTechHustle Newsletter 📰: We’ll start with a discussion about OpenAI’s latest video generation model called Sora 2. After that, we’ll segue into a GOAT debate where DHustle and Raymond go stat-for-stat on Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James.
From there, it’s all about growth and gratitude. In case you haven’t heard, yours truly was recently featured on Authority Magazine as part of the publication’s “Inspirational Black Men in Tech” series. An honor indeed, and I’m excited to talk about what this means for both me and our community.
We’ll wind it all down by celebrating yet another milestone for the #TTH community: 16,000+ YouTube subscribers — Sixteen. Thousand.

It’s looking like OpenAI may have gotten it right once again with one of its latest launches, Sora 2.
Word on these tech streets is that Sora 2 was introduced as a direct competitor of Google’s Veo 3, an advanced AI model that can be used to generate realistic, high-quality video from image and text prompts. And while competition may have been the motivation, I see the former as being more of an Instagram and TikTok disruptor.
Now, I am here to say that the model is quite impressive. It boasts improved physical realism, advanced controllability, and integrated audio generation among other features that go beyond checking the box and really provide the environment for an enhanced creative experience.
As it stands, I see Sora 2 being a tool that can really open up new avenues for just about anyone to generate and enhance video content in ways we’ve yet to see. In other words, there’s a lot of unrealized potential and possibilities with this one.
If you’re a creator and an engineer, you should definitely be tapping into this type of AI application while keeping your ear to the ground so you know how to leverage such tools in your favor.

Fortunately for me, I recently had yet another opportunity to make good on this aim…
At the beginning of November, I was featured in an expert interview on Authority Magazine discussing what it takes to create a very successful tech company. And in true BobbyD style, I dropped the recipe on five things that I know for sure will set you up for success in this game called tech:

Community Impact
Needless to say, I’m very grateful to be in a position where when I speak, people listen...because they want to know what I know—and they desire to do what I do.
I‘ll put it like this, though: It’s easy when it’s in you!
And I say that in the most humble way possible :)
But listen, I know I call it a hustle; however, I’ve really taken my time and learned the ropes when it comes to this tech thing. And now I’m able to impart knowledge to those around me as well as the next generation…because I want to see all of us win.

I say this with my chest: If there’s one thing that really characterizes our #TTH community, it’s growth.
Seriously, it’s not just about YouTube, it’s about the way we (all of us) continue to show tf up and do what needs to be done to keep us on the path of greatness.
It’s certainly been an uphill climb, but every step has been worth it! Before you know it, we’ll be 25k, 50k, then 100k.
Ain’t no stoppin’ us now!
