You’re Probably Making Money Harder Than It Needs to Be

The older I get, the less patience I have for wasting energy.

Maybe that’s just my 6-line wisdom. Maybe it’s midlife. Maybe it’s because I’ve spent enough years in business to recognize when I’m working against myself instead of with myself. Whatever the reason, I’ve become increasingly interested in one question:

What if making money doesn’t actually have to be this hard?

I’m not, nor will I ever suggest that business is effortless; building something we care deeply about does take work in our courage and willingness to keep showing up. But those are very different things than hustle, forcing, and constantly trying to become someone you’re not.

Over the years, I’ve watched incredibly talented entrepreneurs tie themselves in knots trying to follow someone else’s formula. They rewrite their messaging because a coach tells them to. They launch offers they don’t even like because they think it will convert. They dance, dress up and curate themselves online because, “That’s how so-and-so-millionaire entrepreneur does it. 🤷‍♀️”

Then they wonder why they’re exhausted.

One of the biggest shifts I’ve seen in my clients happens when they hit their “I just can’t pretend anymore” threshold. That’s when they burn out from trying to build their business according to someone else’s blueprint and finally start leveraging what they’re naturally designed to do, they way they are naturally designed to do it.

That’s what the Success Codex is really about.

People often assume it’s another personality system, or some thing super Woo. It isn’t. It’s a map of your natural genius - how YOU are designed to create impact, grow your business, build consistency, and become that entrepreneur you got into business to be. And yet another person will build their bank account by prioritizing being in their body vs their mind - and yet another might get rich by leaning into their mind!

The point is, despite what you’ve been sold in programs and coaching packages and youtube videos, there isn’t one correct way to make money.

For you, there is only your way.Now that doesn’t mean your way is always the easiest path. In fact, it often asks you to let go of a lot of conditioning. It sometimes asks you to disappoint people who are convinced they know what’s best for you. It almost always asks you to trust yourself when the evidence hasn’t shown up yet. That kind of self-trust isn’t built overnight, and it certainly isn’t for the faint of heart.

But something remarkable happens when you finally stop trying to fit yourself into someone else’s definition of success: The pressure begins to lift. Your energy comes back. You stop spending so much of your day wondering whether you’re doing business “right” because you’re no longer measuring yourself against someone else’s blueprint. Instead, you begin making decisions from a place of deep self-knowledge.

It’s only from this place when I’ve seen money begin to truly flow more easily - when people start leading with their natural strengths and build businesses that are “true to them.”

To me, that’s what the Success Codex has always been about - it’s the empowering solution to the world telling you you can’t trust yourself. It’s about helping you recognize the one person you’ve been overlooking all along: yourself.
