Hey Sub-Beaconers: As you know, we’re transitioning from Patreon because Substack is growing and Patreon is dying. Also because we spend more time on Substack. Also because video is easier to do here. This is better for us, is what we’re saying. Hopefully it’s better for you, too. And if it isn’t, well, too bad. We’ll see six months from now if this was a good move!
We’re giving everyone a one-month complimentary sub to the new site, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted access here to our most recent episodes originally on Patreon as well as our new episodes, which will start up again on July 24. After that, you’ll need to sign up for a sub. Some of you will be charged a little more, some of you will be charged a little less. The whole tiers thing/pay what you feel strategy we used over at the Patreon doesn’t work on Substack. But this is ... cleaner. Like dropping the “the” from Facebook.
