I felt bad for skipping chapter day earlier this week so here's something else I've been working on: a digital sketch of Kat, the protagonist of my Ravenshore novels.
This took a lot of hours and very meticulous referencing because I'm not actually that good at drawing, just stubborn enough to keep at it until it's pretty decent.
I'd like to point out that in the novels I did describe her clothes, equipment, characteristics that convey personality (like how she always looks tired and rarely washes her hair), but specifically avoided describing Kat's body (shapes, colours, etc). This is how I see her but technically not canon.
In the hypothetical future where my books are famous, I don't want anyone to hear any bullshit about how they don't look the part for cosplay!
