Though no week has been subtle in recent memory, this one may feel a bit larger than life for several reasons, such as Jupiter kicks it off with big cosmic conversations, the Sun shifts into Leo, Mercury comes out of retrograde, and there’s yet another outer-planet confluence.
As I teased at the end of last week, you’ll likely feel Monday long before it arrives. On this day, Jupiter perfects two transits: the first is a trine with Neptune, and the second is an opposition to Pluto, activating your Leo, Aquarius, and Aries houses in your chart.
Jupiter is still getting the lay of the land in Leo; it’s been twelve years since he called this part of your life home. But this is not the same realm he once knew, and on many levels, for you, it may feel like the music is the same, but the lyrics have changed in this area of your life.
Jupiter likes the visions that Neptune has presented in recent months and can easily make anyone feel inspired, spiritually connected, and highly intuitive; however, keep in mind that “not everything that sparkles is gold.“ Disillusionment is also likely, especially if you’re trying to escape the soul-searching stare of Pluto as it stands in opposition.
You see, Pluto knows your power; it also knows your fears, and, of course, when you let ego instead of soul lead the way. In other words, who you really are when no one is looking. And sometimes, when faced with such a jolting reality, it may be easier to lean into the dream and assume all the challenges lurking will fade into the fog of Neptune; they won’t.
Your task with this energy is to recognize the dream and reclaim your power, and use it to serve the soul, not the ego.
As this energy is still unwrapping, under a 1st Quarter Moon (intense), Jupiter has a softer conversation with Uranus in a kind sextile on the 21st. This conversation between your Leo and Gemini house offers a rare, out-of-the-box idea that’ll help you both lean into the vision and balance the power brimming in the air, but you’ll have to seek this energy to find it - sextiles whisper they don’t scream.
On the 22nd, the Sun moves into Leo (Happy Birthday, Leo’s). Your Leo house, which has already been a focus, thanks to Jupiter now as a beam of light that demands creativity, originality, and a clearer understanding of these changes that seem bigger than life. This is a good time to seek clarity, even if you have to poke around some old wounds, which is what the Leo Sun square Chiron on the 23rd invites you to do.
On this same day, Mercury will move out of retrograde, now ready to integrate lessons learned around the story you’ve been working with since the 12th of June.
The weekend continues with the theme of big reveals and ideas swirling about what to do now, as Venus sextiles Mercury, and then, hours later, Pluto sextiles Neptune.
Both Pluto and Neptune are in retrograde, suggesting that the answers we need about vision and the power of transformation were likely overlooked amid the chaos of recent events. You may feel increasingly aware that bigger collective changes are unfolding beneath the surface of everyday life. Old systems continue cracking. Personal priorities continue shifting. What once motivated you may no longer hold the same emotional grip.
Then Karma steps to the plate as the nodes ingress into Leo/Aquarius and Saturn moves backward into his retrograde season.
This is a good time to reflect on what you’ve been working on all year. Is it holding, or does it need more staying power? As well as what happened 18 years ago and 9 years ago in your Leo/Aquarius houses. This is where the turning of karmic tides will take place again, and you’ll sense a family rime of events begin to unfold. Learning from the past and taking advantage of the lessons of maturity will help you recognize what must leave and what to lean into.
Be sure to pay attention to the topics of your houses for more insight.
Something to keep in mind this week...
When life feels overwhelming or out of your control, pay attention to what you’re feeding. The things you give your time, energy, and focus to will grow. Some chapters don’t end with a dramatic closing. They fade when you stop feeding them. Instead of fighting what is falling away, invest your energy in what you want to build. Feed the wolf you want to see grow. The rest will lose its power over time.
