Ruth Klein · The Sacred Energy of Time with Ruth Klein

Welcome. I am glad you are here.

If you have just found me, here is what this publication is for.

I help authors turn a finished book into authority, opportunity and income, long after the launch is over.

That is the whole of it. Not writing the book. What happens after.

I have been doing this work for more than thirty years, and I have watched the same thing happen more times than I can count. Someone writes something true and useful. They pour everything into launch week. And when that week ends, they stop talking about it.

The book does not stop being true. It sits there, still needed by someone who has not found it yet.

That is the part nobody prepares you for, and it is the part I write about here every week.

Before I get into what I believe, here are the pieces to read first depending on where you are.

If you have published, and it went still.

This is the most common place to be, and the most misunderstood.

If you are still writing.

Read this now rather than later. Knowing what happens after publication will change what you write.

If you want the mechanics of being seen.

And take the checklist.

The Book Tour Checklist is yours, free. Six phases, from eight weeks before your first stop through to turning the whole tour into lasting authority. It is the same list I walk my private clients through before a single event is booked.

Most authors are told the book is the finish line.

It is the starting line.

And the reason so many good books disappear is not that they were not good. It is that visibility is not one big event. It is hundreds of small decisions.

It is updating your email signature.

It is saying yes to the interview that felt too small.

It is walking into the room you were hesitant about.

It is repurposing one chapter into months of content instead of exhausting yourself making something new.

It is remembering that your book is not only something you sell. It is what introduces you before you ever walk into the room.

I am living this right now. I am taking my own book, Generation Why Not®, back on tour six years after it was published. People keep telling me that is too late.

It is not too late. Great ideas do not expire. They simply need new opportunities to be discovered.

And here is the thing I tell my clients most often, because it is the thing I most believe:

Writing a book requires courage. Marketing a book requires determination. The two belong together.

Free, every week. One essay on visibility, positioning, and the work of getting a book into the hands it belongs in. Plus the Book Tour Checklist, yours now.

Paid. The Book Marketing Revival Series: deeper strategies, real stories from three decades of this work, journal prompts, and the behind-the-scenes thinking I do not share publicly. Paid subscribers also receive $500 off the VIP ticket to Thought Leadership LIVE!, my four-day event in Santa Monica, October 22 to 25.

Annual. Everything above, plus a monthly live session where I work through real books on camera, the chance to submit your own book for the session, and my working templates: the press release, the media kit, the podcast pitch and the television pitch. Not examples. What I actually send.

Founding. Everything above, plus a private thirty-minute strategy session with me, one to one. Ten each month. And first refusal on guest slots for The Book Club with Ruth Klein when they open.

I am the author of seven bestselling books and the host of The Book Club with Ruth Klein.

For more than thirty years I have worked with authors, coaches and experts on the part of publishing that nobody teaches: visibility, positioning, and turning one book into a career.

I am the founder of Expert Celebrity Branding®.

And I have been on both sides of this. I have had the launch that worked and the launch that did not, and I have had the book that came back to life years later when I refused to stop talking about it.

I want to leave you with the question I ask every author I sit down with.

If your book reached ten times the number of people it has reached so far, what would change for you?

Not for your sales figures. For you. For your work, your calendar, the rooms you are invited into, the people you would be able to help.

Sit with that honestly, because your answer is the whole reason the work after publication matters.

Then tell me in the comments where you are with your book and what has you stuck. I read every one, and I answer them.

Your book is the starting line.

Let’s go.

Ruth
