Hi folks!

This is a quick one to say that our new Writing Workshop and Writing Sessions are now live and bookable! I took a break from running the workshop earlier this year while I focused on finishing my PhD (an ongoing project) but we are back, baby, and I’m so excited to get to spend time on this again!

The Writing Sessions are a two hour space (with breaks!) in which facilitator Char Heather, me, will provide an optional writing prompt for the first half hour of the session, followed by an opportunity to chat. In the second hour of the session we will use the space to work quietly together on our own projects. You are welcome to take breaks as you need and leave as early as you’d like.

Capacity Commitment: This is a space that you can use as you wish, you are welcome to attend as often and as much of each session as is supportive to you.

Book your spot here

The Remote Writing Workshop group will be a cohort of 9 writers meeting every other week to workshop up to 3 pieces of writing, giving each other feedback and receiving written and verbal feedback from facilitator Char Heather (me!). The workshop is structured so that you have the opportunity to submit work twice across the course, and you will also be given a space at The Remote Writing Sessions. The aim for this workshop is that, as a small group, we can give each other thoughtful, engaged feedback and learn from one another’s work and process. There is no restriction on the form your writing takes, we welcome poetry and prose, fiction and non-fiction. Suggested payment amount £200-£400.

Capacity Commitment

This workshop asks you to commit to reading three pieces of work every two weeks and providing thoughtful feedback on each piece. We ask that you base this commitment on what is likely for you over the coming months, but understand that your capacity might fluctuate and change!

Looking forward to it,

Char x
