TRE Special #49 - Judicial Review Comes for Justin Trudeau

In this episode of the Red Ensign Special, we take a look at the dynamics involved in the decision by the Supreme Court of Canada to open a review of the We Charity Affair, despite a finding of ‘no wrongdoing’ by the Trudeau III report. The Court has, in my view, done an excellent job of choosing a case where almost nobody will find it within themselves to challange the extension of their powers because decision they are proposing to subject to review was farsically political on behalf of induviduals who have no current defenders in Canadian politics.
