The Guide: What Do We Do When There Are No Jobs?

One of the questions I am getting asked a lot in the for-impact sector is, what do we do when there are no jobs?

The short answer is we create them. Because the kind of jobs that are going to get us to the future that we want to create next are not the jobs that got us to where we are now.

In this time of system shift, we have to look at everything based on this time of transition and the fact that we have to step into a different level of creation capacity.

And so we have to create the new jobs.

That means being able to articulate our value at a completely new level. And to partner with others to create new roles that are fit for the future we want to see - and don’t exist yet.
