Annalise Mabe is a Tampa-based writer, essayist, and digital storyteller. Blending a background in psychology with an MFA in Creative Writing, she writes at the intersection of the physical body, memory, and domestic life. Her literary essays have appeared in Brevity, The Rumpus, Booth, The Boiler and more. As a journalist, she covers food, art, and culture for national and regional publications including Bon Appétit, SELF, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Creative Loafing and more. She is currently at work on her first novel.
