What does independence mean in your climate career?

When I started really thinking about reshaping my career with climate, one of the most important things to me was building something that gave me freedom.

Freedom to work on the projects that mattered to me.

Freedom to make my own choices about my career.

And at times that freedom has been lonely, as I made choices that took me in new directions.

But independence does not mean that you need to go it alone.

There are many of us trying to build careers that include climate.

There are mamy of us that care about our freedom.

So on this 4th of July, I say: thank you.

To all who join me on this journey.

We're stronger together.

And I'm certainly happier.
