We have left Substack. It is a small but mighty step in fighting fascism.

On January 20, 2025, behind the podium that displays the presidential seal of the United States, Elon Musk, the businessman behind Tesla and Space X, performed what is commonly recognized as a “Heil” salute.

When no one in the newly elected administration said anything like, “He shouldn’t have done that”, I deleted my Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and Amazon accounts. They couldn’t say, “That was wrong, man”?

This should’ve been the reaction (verbally):

Then, last week, I confirmed that Substack was given $100M in funding, in part by Andreessen Horowitz. Between their far-right leanings and Substack’s push-notifications sent to subscribe to openly Nazi blogs, that’s a hard pass. An absolute heck no. What are they planning? What is happening?

And also, when did we forget that Nazis were bad? I have not forgotten. Have you?
