The Best of the Best Summer Knits

Hi, everyone! Reorganizing one’s knits is truly a full-time job. If you’re like us, June is the month you swap your winter sweaters for your summer ones, which got us thinking about what makes a truly great summer knit. In many ways, they’re more of a workhorse than winter knits: you have fewer of them and you need them—at least if you’re somewhere it gets chilly at night—every evening. Below, you’ll find our all-time favorites including shaker and cricket sweaters, polos, cardigans, roll-necks, half-zips and a cropped crewneck that goes perfectly over all your summer dresses. Our list mostly consists of white cotton weaves because 1. white goes with everything and 2. cotton is washable which means these cover-ups are as useful for cocktails as they are breaking a sweat. However, we have included two sumptuous cashmere styles that really nail the whole Erica Barry lifestyle look, too. Happy swaddling.
