While I knew the latest Spider-Man film was going to be big, I don’t think I saw it dominating the box office like it did over the weekend. The film is already on a record setting pace and continues the incredible run that both Tom Holland and Zendaya are having at the moment. I really wish I had thought of this challenge back in late May or early June, before the actual FIFA World Cup kicked off. But I didn’t. I actually have to credit my son with igniting this idea in my brain over the weekend with a related comment he made, so with that brief introduction, I bring you the inaugural Oscar Project World Cup of Movies.
