Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to do well at the box office despite slowing down from the massive start last month. I saw something over the weekend that the film should surpass the domestic box office total of Avengers: Endgame in the next day or two and become the second highest domestic grossing film of all time (behind Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens). There has been a lot of talk lately about the planned merger/acquisition involving Warner Bros. and Paramount and thought this post from Deirdre Haj was a great look at it. It has felt like something inevitable but also not definite and Deirdre has several great points about the concerns felt across the film industry.
