The Orange & Bee are delighted to publish CL Sydell’s flash fiction narrative, ‘Web of sorrows’ (Issue ten).
CL Sidell grew up playing with toads in the rain and indulging in speculative fiction. She holds a master of arts in both English and library & information science, moderates two creative writing groups, and has reviewed books for the Florida Library Youth Program.
Once upon a time, I made it to the final round of the National Wildlife Photo Contest. I can’t imagine a world where I’m not writing. But publishing wildlife photography alongside writing would be lovely.
Unpuzzling characters/settings amid word weaving.
It’s okay to break the rules! What’s most important is clarity, ensuring the reader isn’t confused by your writing.
As someone who struggles with verbal communication in the real world, being quick-witted is a magical talent I would love to have!
Sneakers. Definitely, sneakers. Heels might look nice, but they certainly aren’t comfortable!
