Welcome to this bonus list of recurring opportunities for landscape and environmental photographers!
While many open calls accept landscape and environmental photo work, I’m excited to share this article comprised of opportunities dedicated specifically to photography related to these topics. The list below includes opportunities for funding and support, prizes, exhibitions, publications, and more.
Specifically, this article is divided into the three sections:
Grants, Fellowships, and Other Funding. These opportunities provide funding and support for ongoing or upcoming projects.
Awards and Prizes. These calls provide monetary and additional awards for already completed photographic work.
Exhibitions and Publications. These are opportunities to share photographic work via exhibitions at galleries and museums, or via publication in magazines and photobooks.
My goal is that this list will connect landscape and environmentally-oriented photographers with calls that might help fund, share, and otherwise support their practice and projects.

Unless I have noted otherwise, all the calls in this article are open internationally.
Not all of the opportunities listed here are currently open (although some are, and I have noted upcoming deadlines in those cases). However, all of the opportunities listed below are recurring or ongoing. If one is a good fit for your work, but is not currently open, check it regularly to see when it reopens. Most calls included here reopen annually.
Like other recently published bonus articles, I will continue to update and expand this list as I find more opportunities that support landscape and environmental photography.

Houston Center for Photography’s Carol Crow Fellowship

Vital Impacts’ Environmental Photography Fellowships and Mentorships
Vital Impacts offers a range of funded photography fellowships and mentorships that specifically support photographic work related to photographers’ local environments.
