I started working on a simple contemplative app meant for reflection several years ago, and recently picked it back up. The web-app is currently in beta, and you can check it out here. I would love for you to check it out, provide feedback if you like, and if you enjoy I consider leaving tip to help me cover the hosting costs. If I can get enough support for the web-app I hope to bring it to both iOS and Android.
Root & Wonder offers a daily set of three queries (inspired in part by the Quaker tradition) that ask us to reflect deeply on three interrelated categories: the Self, the Sacred, and Society.
The daily queries are not meant to be answered quickly, but are instead invitations to pause, to wonder, and to have how we see ourselves and the world around us challenged and reshaped.
The reflections are organized around the four seasons — Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn — so that the themes and questions move in rhythm with the natural world. As the landscape shifts, so do the invitations to reflect, grounding each day’s queries in the spirit of the season.
Each day brings a new theme and a new set of questions meant to cultivate love, life, and liberation in our lives as we seek to live in entangled-solidarity with all our kin, human and otherwise.
