Of Note - July - 21 Things I Loved This Month.

Welcome to the Noteworthy Monthly Edit - a roundup of things that I genuinely enjoyed and loved throughout the month of July. If you missed last month’s, here is June’s!

1. DedCool 01 Taunt Detergent. I have been a Laundress Signature loyalist for a long time but lately I’ve been using this detergent on my towels and linens and I loooove it. It smells creamy yet a little sexy. As such, I’m going to grab the linen spray in the scent next.

2. Dips in the sea. One of the hotels I stayed at in July had the most incredible sea access. I could be on my lounge chair and then jump directly into the sea in less than 10 seconds and therefore I did so about five times a day. It was bliss. Perfectly crisp and refreshing and so salty you wanted to lick your lips. It was no-screen time I couldn’t cherish more if I could.

3. New sunnies! Always feels fun and this pair is super affordable. (Seen with this dress - size 8 - and this bag).

   

4. Morning yogurt bowls. I’ve been adding some of my Fortnums passion fruit curd to my morning yogurt bowls and omggggg it’s the best little treat.

5. Relatedly, peach season!! I could eat my weight in peaches if given the opportunity.

6. Frozen bevies!! Frozen negronis and frozen cosmos?! Yes, please. No better way to beat July’s heat.

7. Sculpting Swim. I deeply love the sculpting fabrics so many swim brands are using now. This one remains the one I reach for first for the past two summers. Use code WITWHIMSY15 for 15% off.

8. This hand wash. It smells moody and intricate and the formula leaves hands feeling soft - never striped.

9. Early Fall Shopping. I’m already ready for the return of my favorite season and shopping accordingly. I’ve always wanted an Hermes Picotin bag but it’s not in the budget right now so when I spotted this cute one that had similar vibes, it was an immediate yes.

10. The World Cup. I come from a big soccer family but it’s never been my cup of tea. But near the end of the tournament I tuned into several games and found myself loving watching. Note to my future self: make time to watch more matches when the next tournament rolls around in four years!

11. I’ve been on a big deli sandwich kick this month. The Court Street Grocers Delight sandwich was out of this world good and then while Upstate Carly and I shared a classic chicken salad sandwich and an Italian deli sandwich from the best ever Public Market in Stockbridge, Mass. (Side of Fritos optional and yet entirely encouraged!!)

12. Cuir Rose Candle. This candle is so my vibe - floral and woodsy. It smells exactly how I want my home to always smell.

13. Easy Summer essentials. This SPF for body, this for face + part, this linen button down (size L) + these seersucker shorts (size M).

14. Pool hangs. I think my favorite way to catch up with loved ones this summer has been in body of waters - particularly pools.

15. Pendant necklaces. I just got this one and it’s easy to layer and a pretty statement piece for finishing certain outfits.

16. This bra. It’s so comfy yet supportive and ideal for WFH and travel days. I wear a size 4.

17. Easy lightweight foundation. This stick I got last month to test is so great. It melts into my skin and gives the perfect amount of coverage while covering up my redness so easily. I wear shade Bisque.
