Hey y’all, welcome to the August edition of The Agenda 🔑
We are officially rounding out summer in New Orleans, and August is giving us one last full month before football season, fall festivals, and the city’s busiest stretch of the year kicks into gear.
Fresh off White Linen Night, the calendar isn’t slowing down. This month’s lineup includes 80+ events, from concerts and live music to networking events, wellness experiences, markets, museum nights, food pop-ups, happy hours, and community gatherings happening all across the city.
Whether you’re looking for something new to do after work, planning your weekends, or simply trying to be more intentional about getting out of the house, we’ve pulled together everything happening this month in one place.
As always, The Agenda is designed to help you plan ahead, discover something new, and make the most of living in New Orleans. If you’re already reading this, you’re in the right place. August is one of the best months of the year to explore New Orleans’ restaurant scene. Throughout the month, participating restaurants across the city offer special prix-fixe lunch, brunch, dinner, and cocktail menus, making it the perfect time to finally try that spot you’ve been eyeing or revisit an old favorite.
Beat the heat and explore New Orleans’ incredible museums. If you’re a member of any participating museum, you and a guest receive complimentary admission to the other participating museums all month long. This year also includes the Museum Month Passport, where you can collect stamps as you visit museums for a chance to earn prizes.
