I’ve been quiet.

I know. It’s been a while.

I haven’t written here for almost two months. Something happened in my family that needed all of me and for a while, this was simply one of the things I had to put down.

I’m not quite ready to write about all of that yet, but I did want to pop back into your inbox today because, somewhere in the middle of everything, I’ve been working on something I’m wanted to share.

The Fall Packing Sudoku Guide is officially here.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you probably know Packing Sudoku: my way of building a travel wardrobe around a simple 3 x 3 grid of three tops, three bottoms and three layers that all work together.

For fall, I took that idea much further.

14 complete travel wardrobes for September through November — different destinations, different weather, different kinds of trips. Outfits, shoes, bags, accessories.

And the part I think matters most: the why.

Why one layer earns its place and another doesn’t. What to do when a trip starts warm and ends cold. What changes when you’re moving between cities every few days. How to have plenty to wear without packing half your closet.

Fair warning: it skews very European. I didn’t plan that. I built the grids people asked for, counted at the end, and found France, Italy, England, Scandinavia, the Med, and a river somewhere between Amsterdam and Budapest. Japan and New England are in there too, holding the line for the rest of the world.

Use it for this trip. Come back to it for the next one.

The guide is $25, and the first 200 discounted copies were snapped up within hours yesterday.

But since I’ve been absent from this little corner of the internet for far too long, I wanted to do something just for you.

Substack readers can take 20% off the Fall Packing Sudoku Guide with code SUBSTACK.

Consider it a small thank you for sticking around while things have been quiet over here.

And then, I promise, we have some catching up to do.

Natalie
