In our last issue I told you about the oldest trick there is. The shared fictions that helped us build everything, and then quietly made us forget we were the authors of the tales. I told you the pendulums would feel real again within a couple of days. That the forgetting version of you would show up, tired and reactive, and the whole thing would go back to feeling like fact.

That’s not a failure on your part. It’s the design. And it points at something that simultaneously feels disempowering and as the biggest opportunity for claiming your full power.

The seeing I gave you in that essay lived in words. It went into your mind, your mental layer, the place where you understand things. And understanding is real and absolutely necessary, but it isn’t where the pendulums feed.
