it’s 4am and i’m with you. your eyes staring into mine as i touch the empty spot next to me. there hasn’t been a voice heard in months but i still see every single bit of your body as the memories wash over me.
i guess i live in fantasies, cause i’m missing you so bad.

it’s an ugly feeling to miss somebody. or something. or yourself.

you remember how you were at 15? hanging around with friends.
that lovely place on vacation that left you breathless.
maybe a person next to you, a love filling your heart.

and now you find yourself somewhere completely different but the feelings haven’t stopped haunting you. reminiscing, trying to catch every glimpse of what life used to be. what it was with them.
god my heart is yelling in my chest whenever i revisit the past. life’s so unstable that my head has started living in old times. it sucks.
and worse, i cannot fix it. neither can i fix anything for you, my friend.

but perhaps there is one thing we can do. we can lose ourselves in a world bigger than what our memories have built. one where old voices get replaced by new ones and your feelings are understood.
