July is upon us, and with it the warm Cancer skies, the long summer nights, and the full moon pulling us inward. Folklore names this the Wort Moon — the month when herbs reach their full potency, when our ancestors cut their medicine beneath her light and hung it to dry before the harvest season began its turn. Myth tells of Selene riding her silver chariot across the sky, of Artemis the huntress with her hounds at her heels, and of every mother-goddess who has held the night for her people. July is full of stories, of pull and pause, of the tides she draws in water and body alike. Together, we will spend an hour leaning into its energy and setting our intentions for the month ahead.
In our gathering this month, we will:
Explore the seasonal myths and rituals our ancestors leaned into, and share some of our own.
Sit with the season of the moon and what this turn of the wheel means to us.
Take with us a few simple seasonal practices to weave into the days ahead.
Close together in a group intention setting — naming what we hope to draw inward, what we hope to release and how we see ourselves entering the coming season.
This offering includes a short presentation on the seasonal energies and a downloadable seasonal workbook.
This gathering is for paid subscribers, you can join for $8 per month. We will meet on Zoom for 60 minutes — the link will arrive in your inbox via Substack on the morning of the gathering, and a recording will be shared with subscribers afterward in case you cannot be with us live.
If you’d like to join us, you can upgrade your subscription below. See you there!
