Silicon Valley technofascists are on the back foot for the first time in ages. Public opinion has spiraled against AI Data Centers, income inequality has increased, and a majority of Americans loathe billionaires like Elon Musk who can’t help but reveal their pathetic brokenness to the world.
But they can’t stop, won’t stop.
Instead, they’re trying to find a pivot. Here’s Mark Zuckerberg with a 6,500-word essay - that was also featured in the Wall Street Journal - on the potential and future of AI, which includes “personal superintelligence!” Isn’t that great? That surely makes up for losing your job and being forced to watch AI-generated slop for the rest of your lives as billionaires take over the government and create toxic data centers everywhere except in their own backyard.
It’s all dangerous bullshit, but they continue to persist.
Donald Trump is their corrupt vehicle who has given them a free pass for their technofascist impulses. After all, his Czar of AI and Crypto is David Sacks, who made his money with the PayPal South African Mafia, which includes Peter Thiel and Musk. Thiel’s protege is JD Vance, who is a cankle away from the Presidency.
All of this looks like the 2008 economic crisis, but dumber. It’s a giant Ponzi scheme for the rich, and after they fail, we’ll be asked to “bail them out.” Thankfully, we can get ahead of it. Tech reporter David Morriss rejoins The Left Hook to break down the latest news of how technofascists are trying to kill democracy and steal our wealth.
