Justin Taylor · The Landing Pad

So I’ve been consulting for just about a month now, full time. And I built my personal website, JustinTaylor.co, and I’ve gone through a bunch of that with you guys already. How to build your personal site, how to get all your assets together.

But what I came to a realization on is that I can’t keep running this as just my name. As me.

A couple reasons. One, everything’s been running through my personal email. Gmail. And you know, it’s really become confusing separating my work email from my personal email. I don’t keep as tight of a track on my personal email because there’s a lot of other stuff going on in there. So I really need a clean place for all my work inquiries to come in. And I can’t do that on my personal.

And I don’t think justin@justintaylor.co makes the most sense either.

I’m going to get into the why on Wednesday. There’s a lot more to it than the email thing. And I think it applies to a lot of you.

So I decided I had to come up with a name and do this as a company.

It’s called Secret Menu. It’s a brand and creator consultancy. The site is live at secretmenu.xyz.

Today I want to tell you about the process. Because there’s a lot to learn here. And honestly, the amount of pain to come up with a name was way deeper than I could have imagined.
