Dear Readers,
After 14 months, it is time for us to say goodbye to The Kael Report blog. It has been a wonderful experience sharing these reports with you — covering a wide range of theatre topics — but all good things come to an end, and, as of 30 January, so shall this.
This goodbye, however, comes with a silver lining. Although the blog will soon be no more, it gives us immense pleasure to announce the arrival of The Kael Report as a monthly online magazine covering theatre and the wider arts in London, New York, and beyond.
The launch issue, titled Revival, lands on 3 February and will feature pieces on theatre, popular music, literature, and much more.
To celebrate the launch, we are giving away 10 Kael Report signature tote bags. To enter sign up to our waiting list at https://thekaelreport.com/
We’ll be announcing subscription tiers for the magazine later this month. By subscribing to The Kael Report, you are helping to keep independent arts writing alive — with the added benefit of having each issue, special reports, and more delivered directly to your inbox.
Thank you for being part of the experiment that was the blog. We had a great time producing it and are excited to bring you a bigger, better version as a magazine — with new voices, wider coverage, and the same independent, informed, in-depth reporting.
With gratitude,
The Kael Report
