Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel rejects the 15 point roadmap put forward by President Trump’s Board of Peace. He made clear the IDF will not withdraw from Gaza until Hamas fully and genuinely disarms, covering heavy weapons, lighter weapons, and everything in between. Partial or fake disarmament is not enough.

Netanyahu said Israel is still talking with U.S. officials. Some American ideas are acceptable, others are not. The core issue is sequencing. Israel wants complete demilitarization verified before any pullback so residual threats cannot rebuild. The Board of Peace plan had tied weapons surrender to a phased Israeli withdrawal and governance changes. Hamas says it still supports the roadmap and wants pressure on Israel to move forward.

The White House released declassified 2017 FBI internal memos showing the bureau opened a full counterintelligence and criminal investigation on President Trump just days after he fired James Comey. The case, called “Oxferd Comma,” was opened on May 16, 2017.

The opening memo examined whether Trump “may be or has been, wittingly or unwittingly, involved in activities for or on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation” that could break federal law or threaten national security, specifically tied to the Comey firing and possible obstruction. It was treated as part of the broader Crossfire Hurricane investigation. The case later moved into Robert Mueller’s probe and was closed in April 2019 with no charges against Trump. Mueller’s final report did not establish conspiracy or coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia.

FBI Director Kash Patel highlighted the results of Operation Blackout, a major campaign against large scale international scam compounds that have defrauded Americans through fake cryptocurrency investment schemes. The effort targeted operations mainly in Southeast Asia and Dubai, often run with trafficked workers forced to carry out the scams.

One piece of the operation, called Zephyr Exodus, seized about $15 billion in cryptocurrency from a major compound in Cambodia linked to the Prince Group. That’s the largest crypto seizure of its kind in U.S. history. Overall, the campaign has dismantled multiple compounds, led to hundreds of arrests, and freed thousands of trafficked workers. The FBI is working with the Justice Department to return recovered money to victims.

Under Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, the FAA launched a recruitment campaign aimed at video gamers to help fix the long running shortage of air traffic controllers. The agency pointed to skills gamers already have: multitasking, spatial awareness, quick decisions, and handling complexity.

No college degree is required for applicants under 31 who meet the other standards. Average pay after three years sits around $155,000. The campaign produced record interest. Early reports showed more than 12,000 applications in under two days. By August, Duffy said the effort had hit 94% of the hiring goal in the fastest time on record, delivered more than 2,000 hires in a single year, and put another 2,000 strong candidates into the pipeline toward the FAA Academy.
