It may be well into back-to-school season where you live, or that may yet be approaching, but today I have some apple study materials to share with my paid subscriber friends so we can hit the books together!
Since I am a self-taught herb enthusiast and I value the accessible, cobbled-together botanical education method (for fun and for practicality), I want to make some of my resources available to you here. This may be more of a hobby approach, but it certainly results in a seasoned herb nerd who can say their life is enriched by the plant knowledge they’ve gleaned and the recipes and projects they’ve tried. (I say that with firsthand experience!)
So, if that sounds like you, too, I invite you to try out a paid membership to my ongoing database of this cozy wealth of plant knowledge! I work hard to bring you approachable but useful materials - today’s contribution being a material medica-style plant profile (which comes with a blank printable page for you to compile your own additional research and learning, a notes page, and a recipe card page) that I have researched from multiple sources (no AI!) including my large collection of herbal books. It takes me a significant amount of time to compile this research, so I share these efforts as a special gift for my paid subscribers!
Since these study pages are a starting point (researched and compiled by me) to get you started on your cozy home herbalism studies on an individual plant, I also include blank templates - for you to add your own research results, too!
We will never stop learning more about the plants - you may want to print multiple blanks to fill in on each one! (Also, I have to reiterate that what I share is not medical advice, just educational resources!)
